Ravenscourt is located in the heart of Lerwick's historic conservation area, sheltering behind the Napoleonic walls of Fort Charlotte overlooking Lerwick harbour and the island of Bressay across the water.

Situated at the top of one of the 'lanes' that lead up from Commercial Street, Lerwick's meandering, paved independent shop-lined thoroughfare, Ravenscourt is a very short walk from the heart of the town - but is wonderfully quiet and secluded. Sit out in the private sun-trap courtyard and you'd not know you're in the midst of Lerwick.

There's parking right outside the door, and Lerwick itself is conveniently placed as the ideal base from which to explore the rest of the varied and dramatic islands that make up Shetland.
